Toolset
Pomodore
To Chunk work for a defined time, i. e. 25 minutes, in focus mode. Afterwards reward yourself with a 5-minute-break and do something you enjoy to get in diffuse mode.
Processoriented
Focus on the process of elaborating something, not on the final product you want to achieve.
Deliberate Practice

Teach yourself, what you have just learned.

Don't multitask
To avoid a lot of contextswitching try not to multitask. It's better if you do one chunk after another.
Mind castle
If you try memorizing information, try to vizualize and feel the information, than imagine a house you know, walk through it and put in a place, where you think it fits. Later you can retrieve the information by virtually walking through you Mind castle
Exercise
Get yourself in the routine of daily exercising, go jogging, biking or do yoga. This will improve your diffuse thinking.
Chunking

If you learn something new those things, we call them chunks, can only be small

Illusion of competence: You have to take a look at the chunks from different perspectives, otherwise you might think you understood something even though you only got it superficialy.
When you chunk, you have to focus,understand and practice.
Memory
Short Term Memory
It's like a Selfwhiping Whiteboard. If you don't redraw your minds, it gets lost.
Long Term Memory
Similar to a warehouse, where you can store and pick the information needed.
Reconsilidation
To keep information in your long term memory, you have to retrieve and reconsilidate the information, regularly.

Rebuilding
Your memory is constantly rebuilding connections and when you sleep it whipes out toxins in your brain, so its vital to your mind to have enough sleep.
Thinking modes
Diffuse Thinking
It's when you do something to relax and not concentrate on something specific. It's like when you are on auto pilot.

Focus Thinking
This mode is activated when you are concentrating on somethig specific. You are in cotnrol of your thoughts.

They are like Yin & Yang. They are counterparts, but support each other.
Habits
Procrastinations
If you like to take cues to not work on the topic you intended to, it's called procrastination.

Get yourself out of the routine of procrastinating and establish methods to avoid the things you usually do while procrastinating.
Believe in yourself, you can do it!
Negative Emotions
When you start something new it's normal that your pain center is activated, but once you started working on that topic it vanishes. Therefore, you have to put you will into overcoming this short period.
