Presentation

Symptoms appear abruptly, 2-3 days after exposure to virus
symptoms - sore throat, headache, weakness and fatigue, feeling unwell, loss of appetite, insomnia, dry cough

antivirals not used as treatment unless pt in at risk group and complications will cause worse prognosis
