IBD
Chronic longstanding, asymmetric, oligois, mainly in the lower limb, +/- tendonitis, ant uveitis, erythem nodosum, pyoderma gangrenosum
REACTIVE
1-6 weeks Post infection
Increased inflammatory markers
Malaise, fever, LOWER LIMB, oligoathritis +/- low back pain, heel pain, erythema nodosum, dytsrophic nails, mouth ulcersm
BEHCETS
Recurrent oral ulcers, uveitis, rash, pathergy, genital ulcer, athritis
ANKYLOSING SPOND
Affects 'Axial Skeleton'
Insidious Onset, usually before 30prs,
Intermittent flairs and remission
Systemic - Weight loss, fever, fatigue
EXAMINE: Tender SI joints,increased lumbar lordosis, thoracic kyphosis, +/- Ant Uveitis, CV disease, Restrictive lung, amyloidosis, osteopenia, cauda equina syndrome
1/3 Patients - tendonitis, peripheral athritis
SLE
Discoid Rash
Vascultiic ulcer
Butterfly Rash
Renal Disorder
Hematological Abnormalities
CRYSTAL Arthropathy
Mono Sodium GLutmate in synovial fluid
Calcium - Pseudo Gout - CAlcium pysophosphate
Gout - Oligoathritis, tophi, acute onset
TREAT: aspirate, corticosteroids, colichine, NSAIDS
