Maze
Exit
To find theire exit they need to compare the stand of the maze over the past months. Only in that way they can escape the maze.
Grievers
Nasty looking creatures which attack people at night who enter the maze.
They also take a dealdy serum with them which they inject in people to kill them.
Changing
The fact why the people in the maze cant escape easily, is because the maze changes every night. And because the maze is soo big. The Runners almost run half a marathon a day.
Groups
If they want to stay healthy they need a lot of food. So they created groops a few of those groups are: Runner, Farmer, Cleaner and a lot more.
When Thomas joins the guild, he needs to choose between a few groops. But withing no time it is clear that he needs to be a Runner.
If everyone keeps theire hands at theire own groupt then everyone had enough food and enough healthy products.
A small excample of the Runner. The Runners run through the maze and look for a way out. But because the maze changes every night, makes it only harder for them to find a way out.

Their Plan
When Thomas finally became a Runner, he knew that he whas able to crack the maze.
But to do so, he needed his friends to help him.
When the last night finally came in sight Thomas and his master plan are there to free the people.
But is he going to succeed? You will find the answer in the book.

When Thomas finally finds the way out of the maze, he is going to face an even bigger problem. The maze whas only a TEST!
And the Special Government Agency is there to keep them in custody, when he realizes that the whole world is almost gone.
