Week 4 Term 2
Re-thought my TAI question as I noticed in my class that during writing all of my target students needed a lot of conversation and talk to gauge ideas for their writing. Although target groups were responsive during our conversations and were coming up with great ideas they were going to use in their writing, when I would leave them to write independently they were not producing a lot or were missing the information we had talked about. They needed a lot of guidance. This led me to re-think my TAI question which I decided to change to "how can I help build my target groups confidence to work independently during writing?" as for reading within my target group they don't know what inferring is but this is something thet we will continue to build on through using what they read to write. However writing was a great concern when I scanned again as these are year 6 students moving into year 7 next year and their writing needs a ttention.
