The nose breathes in air, and the air goes down the windpipe and into the lungs, where it is transferred into the bloodstream via the blood vessels on the sides of the air sacs in the lungs.
Carbon dioxide is expelled out of the body through the nose after the oxygen is transferred to all the other parts of the body.
Circulatory system
Blood rich in oxygen will flow from the lungs to the heart, where it will the be pumped to all the other parts of the body.
Blood rich in carbon dioxide will flow from the other parts of the body back to the heart, where it will be pumped back to the lungs and the carbon dioxide will be expelled out of the body.
