Etsy Seller Onboarding Flow/Options :
What is the best way to aggregate all of Etsy's potential Sellers?
Data for single listing goes to empty seller email template
Seller receives email and clicks on the link.
The listing data is transferred over to a pre made Chrysalis listing the seller receives a unique identification number. They receive a custom "Register to finish your listing" prompt.
They enter our streamlined listing flow containing the pre populated fields pulled from their existing non Chrysalis listing.
At confirmation of their first listing we migrate their email into the Seller drip campaign.
Their first item is successfully listed?
Possible questionable methods (fake it till you make it): Product view counter?, messages through Chrysalis from "fake users", asking questions about products, purchase of one product through Chrysalis. (We could use it for a party and resell it.)
Full Seller Storefront Migration Process TBD by Shane and Max
Seller Storefront Landing Page, Seller Drip Campaign, Rewards for first sales etc.
We must identify sellers who drop off during the listing process.
All efforts are made to getting the seller to migrate their storefront.
What happens if they do not click it? How do we track this?
Mailchimp, Chrysalis Site or another 3'rd party option??
Option 1: Etsy API
Sync with Etsy and gather Seller information.
Option 2: We scrape Data
Comprehensive Scrape of Etsy Costume Related Keywords
Collect list of all potential sellers and sort by relevancy
Have a monkey find the seller's emails. About 1/4 of the emails we scraped we cannot find the seller's email. Are there any other options? Is it possible to send a link to their listing via facebook?
photo files copied to Chrysalis server so as not to have every image filebe named "etsy.etc."
