Striving for the Bottom
Visual Identity
What ways can we sell the book?
Art Directions
Malcolm Gladwell (Similar to the way we did the first cover?)
A second idea I had was to move in the direction VERY similar to the cover of Stress & rocking chairs. Predominantly white, only ONE visual element that truly commands your attention and also provides a very easy to grasp prestige that helps you to get the idea of the book.
A shovel
A Hole (where a pile for a foundation would be)
A Mason's Trough
A Brick
A Man Standing on top of a building
Dirty Manly
A close up of a hand grasping another's hand... Very dirty, very manly, possibly event tattooed? Gritty is the key word here... communicating that I am willing to help you get higher by striving for the bottom.

Aha moments about the book:
There is a idea of building the foundations in the book that makes you think I am striving to make my foundation perfect. BUT THAT IS NOT THE IDEA AT ALL!!!
The idea is rather to build the building well so that
your ceiling can become the next generation's floor
. To think generationally!
