Social determinism suggests that behavior is determined by the influences of other you surround yourself by. This can be people like; parents, family, culture, music, background, religion, psychological state, traumatic experiences, or society.
This theory says that your actions may be explained by what you have gone through in your past with others. Your behaviour towards certain things is explained by social factors, rather than the decisions you make. Your past determines who you are and you are a product of what others have done to you. Therefore, you can't escape how you react and feel towards certain areas of topics. You're not free from your past experiences.
