Major criteria: SC emphysema, SOB, Stridor, Inability to tolerate supine position
Minor criteria: local swelling and tenderness, hoarseness of voice, Dysphagia, Haemoptysis

Injuries at the level of the cricoid are most likely to be associated with laryngotracheal separation (cricotracheal ligament is the weak point)

Lateral C spine XRs: SC smphysema, C spine injuries (common)
CXR: pneumothorax, associated injuries
