Hierarchy of needs analysis: Psychopaths used more words connected to food, drink, clothing and money (basic needs). Non-psychopaths used more words connected to family, religion (social needs). Emotional expression: Psychopaths speech contained 33% more disfluencies (e.g. uh, um, erm) more likely to use past tense and distancing.
