Earthquakes
There are four types of plate boundary's:
Only Conservative and Collision plate boundaries cause earthquakes as well as Constructive earthquakes occasionally forming earthquakes
Collision-Two plates hit into each other and cause land to be pushed up, forming mountains. Also causes earthquakes.
Conservative-Two plates rub against each other at different speeds. Causes earthquakes and rift valleys
Constructive-Two plate get pulled apart forming a gap where magma can push through. Can also cause a earthquake.
Destructive-Commonly involves oceanic plates and continental plates. The denser plate is most commonly the oceanic plate. The denser plate is forced underneath the less dense. The denser plate is heated up and eventually melt and form magma. Eventually the magma will force its way through the earths crust, forming a volcano.
Why do people live in these sorts of areas?- Some people do not have the ability to move away from that area for example they might not have enough money to buy a new house in a safer place. Also some people believe that it is never going to happen to them so believe that they are safe there.
Prevention.
Plan/Predict-Try to predict when a earthquake is likely to happen so that you can try to protect the area

Deserts
The temp in deserts is generally very hot with summer temps reaching highs of 40°C, and winter temps up to 20°C

Climate Change Causes

Human Factors:
:star: Use of fossil fuels
:star: Agriculture, such as methane from cattle and rice paddies
:star: Deforestation
:star: Methane released from melting permafrost

Rainforests
The climate of tropical rainforests is generally warm all year round, ranging from 27-29°C.
Adaptations of the rainforest-There is a very high biodiversity which is currently under threat from human impact. Trees grow buttress roots that help provide stability for the tall trees as well as absorb the nutrients from on top of the ground quicker as the roots are above ground.
