Where he walked
He was born in 1922 in Indianapolis and stayed there for a little bit of his life then was forced into war.
He went to school at Cornell University in 1941 to 1943 in Ithaca, NY. he also went to the University of Chicago in 1944 to 1971.
Kurt Vonnegut has walked through war, and was forced to fight at the age of 21. He stayed in a slotter house and soon wrote a book about it.

Who has he met?
He has met his first wife Jane Marie Cox who died in 1979. She was his "high school sweet heart". After the war he married her and they had three children and adopted his sisters three sons after she died.
He also met his second wife after Jane died in 1979. Her name was Jill Kermenz, who died in the same year as he did. They had adopted one chiled.
He also met the many people who fought in the war with him. he had to watch them die and it was a painful time for him.
What did he believe?
He also believed in the hope to make writing a huge part of all of our lives. And it helped all of our liturature to change into something more.
He also believed in no war and believed in peace and harmony to earth. this was a big step in his writing.
He believed in becoming a Science Fiction writer, but to write it in a dark comical way to create a new type of writing.
What he left behind
When he left for the war he left his love behind. it was hard for him to leave his home and her behind. it was fairly hard.
