Position Overview - serves as subject matter expert on all processes and systems

Duties and Responsibilities

responsible for focusing on getting all SOS product displayed online (lowes.ca) primrily major appliances

provide training to Merchandising team

setting up

managing sales programs

support day to day responsibilities of the digital SOS catalogue program

Online support with focus to get all SOS product on lowes.ca

ongoing maintenance of the ECAT pricing system

to ensure that the correct pricing in set up in the system and online

ongoing maintenance with the Merchants and vendors

to ensure that discontinued items are removed out of the system and removed on lowes.ca

Work with merchants, pricing and online team

to ensure that SOS items are included in promos online

Provide support for processes and systems

Manage the support mailbox

to maintain a high level of service

Monitor on-line communications tool (connections) for SOS related discussions

Actively participate in forum topics and discussions

Create and maintain documentation for SOS-related processes and systems

Support the day to day responsibilities of the SOS Digital Catalogue program

Manage the catalogue approval process

to ensure new material meets company standards

Ensure the information across all information sources is accurate and matches

Provide support to vendors and merchandising where required

Process improvements

Identify, recommend and investigate ways to improve business processes

Define process gaps, gather associated data including cross-functional feedback and investigation cause-effect relationships

Enhance system solutions (including upgrades) and reduce costs

to identify improvement opportunities and to develop an optima work processes

4 yr university degree

knowledge of retail merchandising(categories, products, processes, store operations)

experience in a support role within corporate environment or retail store

analytical thinking, trouble shooting and problem solving skills

excellent oral and written communications skills

excellent time management, prioritization and organizations skills

teamwork, collaboration and customer-service orientation

detail orientation and sustained attention

computer/technical skills proficiency in MS excel, word, Powerpoint and access

ability to adapt to new situations and learn new procedures
