Parts are:
Windpipe
Connects the nose to the lungs so that the air in the nose can travel to our lungs
Lungs
Has air sacs that absorb oxygen from the air in our lungs so that the oxygen can enter our bloodstream to be transported to all parts of our body
Nose
Have tiny hairs and mucus to tap dust particles in the air we breathe in so that the air in our windpipe and lungs are filtered and clean
Circulatory system
Function is:
To transport blood with digested food, oxygen, water and nutrients to all parts of the body and transport waste materials away from all parts of the body
Parts are:
Heart
Pumps blood to various parts of the body
Blood
Transports digested food, oxygen, water and nutrients to all parts of the body and transports carbon dioxide to the lungs and waste materials to the kidneys
Blood vessels
Transports blood around the body
Air
Air is made up of a mixture of gases
The gases are:
Oxygen(21%)
Carbon Dioxide(0.03%)
Nitrogen(78%)
Other gases including water vapour(0.97%)
