      - They live in a dangerous town. Everyone is always on conflict with eachother. If you are a greaser and seen by some socs, it will 100% be a brawl in the street. You would always want to walk with your gang and never alone. Greasers like ponyboy and johnny had to learn it the hardway
  - - - The Story emphasises on the low income culture that the greasers live in and the author really shows this by making the greasers rob things, showing the type of home they live in and their city and basically breaking the law just so they don't have to pay
- - - - Marcia and Cherry leave with the greasers, but they meet up with some socs and the two girls leave with the socs. Since Pony boy was late coming home Dally gets angry and hits him. Pony boy and johnny run off to the park.
    - - Pony boy and Johnny cut both of their hair to disguise themselves. Pony boy and Johnny go to a church. Cherry is now a spy for the greasers. There is now an ongoing war between the socs and greasers. Dally visits both of the boys and gives them a letter from soda pop.
        
        Johnny wants to turn himself but then a fire in the church starts happening and the two boys save the kids who are in the church. The people declare them as heroes and they reunite with their brothers.
        
        The boys visit the hospital for johnny who has major injuries but he is in critical condition. The socs and greasers plan a big rumbles against each other. The greasers win.
        
        Johnny Dies. Dallas robs a store and calls for help. The police body shot Dallas. Pony boy blames himself for the death of Bob. Pony boy creates a book sharing his experience in life.
- - - - Johnny - Greasers - Johnnys main attribute is that he is shy. He is shown to be really quiet and not share his feelings to people unless he is really close with them like pony boy. He is also another greaser that does not fit in.
      - Steve is a cocky, mean and rude .
    - - Darry
    - - Dally is the most rebillious out of the gang. He is energitic and wild and is always looking for something fun to do. He is the trouble maker of the group.
        
        Two Bit is the sarcastic one in the group. He is the one who is always talking and is a funny guy.
