Classical Conditioning
Facts
-
-
Involves learning to associate a stimulus which brings out a response with a new stimulus to bring out the same response
-
3 STAGES
-
2 : During Conditioning
A stimulus which produces no response (neutral) is associated with the Unconditioned Stimulus, which is now known as the CS
-
During this stage, UCS must be associated with CS on a number of occasions, for learning to take place
However, this might not be necessary e.g being sick after food poisoning or too much alcohol
-
KEY TERMS
-
