He saved millions of lives and sacrificed himself in a bomb.

The iron giant was a great friend of Hogarth and most of the children. Because of Hogarth the iron giant learnt from what was right and what was wrong by protecting the city.

even though he set off bombs and guns and basically tried to destroy the city, it was only because he tried to protect himself from other guns. Weapons were the effect of danger and causing more inconvenience. He then learnt the meaning and reasons of I am not a gun, Guns Kill.

Even though he was a witness of threat and inconvenience that never was a matter to him because there was only one important sacrifice to protect livings and lives.

He caused a tsunami and drowned Keen as he'd tried to rest in peace.

He caused destruction and power cut.

The iron giant was a threat to the city and he'd just a gun who kills the nature.

He demolished buildings and shattered train tracks.

The weapons are all sealed inside because of the Russians. everyone knows that that the iron giant was sent from Russia and who knows? He could be either a spy or here to betray everyone. I also bet that the Russians are trying to cause more war with us and think that their so smart to send a full weaponed giant to kill!

Responsible for destruction of Keen's art and threat to others.
