Flooding happens mostly in Mangrove swamps, however, the roots of those mangrove trees hold the soil and prevent nutrients from being corroded in rain season.
The Mekong River begins in the Lasagongma spring which is in the plateaus of Tibet. It flows through China, Burma, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand and finally Vietnam.
The climate of the Mekong Basin ranges from temperate to tropical. The Upper Mekong Basin (UMB), in the Northwest, some taller peaks of the Tibetan Plateau are glaciated. In the Lower Mekong Basin (LMB) or the lower elevations area along the river, the temperature gradually increases as it goes further to the South of Vietnam.
Based on the image, in the month of March to May, the average temperature is from 30 degree C to 38 degree C.
In the month of November to January, the temperature is much cooler.

Landform
Mekong Delta is a low-level plain, mostly thick jungles and mangrove swamps cover the Southern part of the land.
Mekong deposits its sediment in the two large basins, Cuu Long basin (offshore Mekong Delta) and Nam Con Son basin. They both located on the continental shelf of the South China sea.

Sandy soil
Retains nutrients and moisture. Good for plants because it lets the water go off so the water is not near the root and lead them to decay.

Human activities

-
Fishing, shrimp and fish farming.

Mangroves are used as food, animal fodder (grain, hay…) medicine and constructing materials.

A great variety of hydrophytes occur on floodplains and riparian zones that are in inundated season. Since flooding can last for several months in the Mekong Delta, it benefits the health of the hydrophytes.
Lepironia, Phragmites and Typha are types of reed which can adapt to flooding and grow near riparian zones.
Paspalum, Echinochloa and Vossia are types of grass which best adapted grasses with stems that can grow faster during flooding season, this can keep their leaves and flowers above the water and keep them alive.

Climate change affects Geology, Hydrology, Human activities and Vegetation because it will create lots of natural disasters which can damage every resources. it leads to soil erosion, wipe out all types of plant and drown farming areas. Human activities can be stopped.
Hydrology affects Human activities, Vegetation and Geology. Since the Mekong is prone to flood and magnitude, agriculture and aquaculture will be destroyed. Flooding might benefit some hydrophytes but the damage it gives is much more dangerous. It is part of the formation of the Mekong's Geology.
Human activities affect everything in this mind map, everything human does will have an effect on everything in this area. We can cause climate change since we don't like to be responsible for the trash and plastic we used, we throw them everywhere instead of the garbage. We also do shrimp farming which can reduce mangroves growth.
Geology is the formation of the Mekong Delta, it affects vegetation because it is home to many types of rare plants. It also affect the soil types since its formation create these soils.
