Organisational Training Objective
The overall training goal of an organisation is identified during the needs assessment phase. It looks at the overall results or capabilities that the company hopes to attain by implementing the total company learning plan.
Is there really a need for training? What do you want to be able to do as a result of learning achieved from implementing this training plan?
Training Programmes' Objective
The training objectives of the training programme will help to state the expectations of what the trainees are able to do at the end of their training clearly, the condition under which they will demonstrate their competence and thus achieve the aim.
What new capabilities do you want to have? What do you want to be able to perform as a result of your new knowledge, skills and abilities after the training programme?

In-House versus External Trainers
In-House Training is where training is delivered by the staff members of the organisation.
External Training is where training is delivered by skilled professionals outside of the organisation.
Trainer Providers
Training providers is where trainer should avoid any method he/she is not familiar with until he has mastered the necessary skills to use it efficiently.
One should select the best qualified trainer for the programme.
Training Budget
Training budget provides a rough estimate of cost incurred for training.
How much money do you think the training will cost?
Audience
The organisation must consider the type of audience they will have for training to develop a relevant delivery style suited for training based on their characteristics and preferences.
Who will be part of this training? Who will be attending this training?
Participant Size
The participant size is determined based on the individual training needs analysis whereby the selection of participants for training should be objective and non-discriminatory.
Training Schedule/Timeline
A timeline may be required to ensure that training has been done. This is especially so for safety training where training should be done before the employees start work.
How long will it take to develop the training? Is there a deadline for training to be completed?
