1) Xiuhtlapohualli- main calendar- 365 days solar yearly calendar- it had 18 months- a month equalled 20 days and there was 5 extra day at the end- each month was named after a god- it regulated the agricultural activities(planting and harvesting) and market days- each year began with a festival to honour the rain god, tlaloc
2) tonalpohualli- 13 numbers and 20 signs representing an animal, and nature element like water, or an abstract idea like movement combined all of this to make 260 individually named days eg: 3 rabbit, 7 Flint
