Germany were behind on paying off the reparations, so France and Belgium sent troops into the Ruhr - the main centre of Germany's coal, iron and steel production

In 1924, the Nazi Party achieved 32 seats in the election.
1926
Germany dropped to 12 seats. Germany were starting to become more stable as they had recently been accepted into the Laegue of Nations and also, USA were leanding large sums of money to Gernany.
1930
IN 1930, Germany leaped forward to 107 seats. This was due to how unstable Germany was due to the Wall Street Crash.

Poland were given a small part of land that gave them access to the sea. This was called the 'Polish Corridor'. It meant that Germany were split in two. This was also played a big factor in the cause of WW2.

Germany were to take full responsibility of starting WW1. This meant that Germany could be easily punished and made to do things.

Germany's government surrendered. The German's weren't happy as they believed that they hadn't yet lost the battle.

The Depression was a severe worldwide economic deppression that took place mainly in the 1930s. It led to 6million Germans unemployed by 1932. This was a key factor in the Rise of the Nazis as the Nazi party thrived under panic instability.
Hindernburg
Hindernburg thought that he could control a weakened Hitler so appointed Hitler as Chancellor in 1933. The Nazi Party had recently lost some seats in the election.
