Presenting to large groups,
Act as chief brand ambassador for the organization and Tennessee entrepreneurship, often on a national stage
planning with Entrepreneur Center leaders,
working with government stakeholders, such as the Governor and legislators,
Advocate for startup-friendly legislation and financial support with the Tennessee State Legislature

focusing on implementing LaunchTN’s five-year strategic plan,
strengthening the company’s culture and core values,

ensuring that our company is an inclusive, collaborative and professional place to learn and work.

Maintain strong communication and partnership with the Tennessee Department of Economic & Community Development

Five-Year Vision
Capital—Engage angel, venture and corporate venture money from across the state, region and country; and provide access to alternative funding sources to serve entrepreneurs who don’t follow the traditional venture model
Market Access—Establish commercial programs that match startups with private-sector businesses willing to be early adopters and first customers
Commercialization—Offer resources to facilitate the commercialization of life-changing and life-saving institutional research into startups
Talent—Create a pipeline to develop, recruit and retain best-in-class tech, sales and business talent
Policy—Reinforce Tennessee’s business-friendly reputation by advocating for policies that support startups and strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem
selected as one of five organizations nationwide to form the first-ever Entrepreneur’s Policy Network by the Kauffman Foundation.
This grant will be used to facilitate dialogue between policymakers and entrepreneurs, as well as identify and advocate for policies that support small business growth.
