Pneumothorax: High pressure in pleural cavity=collapse lung

Shift from aerobic to anaerobic: No O2 for pyruvate entry -> Lactate
CO2 transport: Dissolved, bicarbonate ions, Hb bound
Tissues
Unilateral cleft lip= Maxillary prominance + medial nasal prominance on 1 side.
Posterior palate cleft= 2 lateral pontine processes
Vasodilation= dilation of pre-capillary sphincters. Local tissues bed accelerates blood flow
