- - - - It is believed that this painting is a response to the protestors who stabbed and injured innocent people at the 2005 Jerusalem LGBTQ+ pride parade.
        
        Banksy is a pacifisct and conveys peace throught his art. A message commonly seen related to this work of Art is "Wage peace". By substituting a weapon with something such as flowers Banksy is favouring peace and pushing the idea to others by creating this artwork in a conflict full area
      - this painting features a man dressed up in what we associate with traditional riot gear, with a bandana obscuring his face, and his cap on back-to-front. His stance is one of a person about to lob a Molotov cocktail; he's taking aim and is ready to throw his weapon. However, instead of a weapon, he holds a bunch of flowers
        
        The picture is painted completely in black and white apart from the flowers. It is believed that Banksy made this choice to represent the gay pride/the colorful flag whereas the person in the picture is painted in black and white to depict him as a rioter/ Protester
        The flowers could also simply represent peace, life, love and such things as opposed to the molotov cocktail which was supposedly in the mans hand.

        The obvious interpretation of this piece is that banksy is promoting gay rights.This piece shows us that Banksy is in favor of gay rights and that through this piece he is making a statement advocating for the lgbt community. By placing authorities in a pro-gay position, Banksy is giving the effect of equality and is influencing the pursuit of worldwide lgbt marriage rights. Today, members of the lgbt community are often put down and denied human rights because of their sexuality. In a wide variety of countries, homosexuality is frowned upon, and even considered illegal. Therefore, by portraying law enforcement as members of the lgbt community, it is inspiring people to accept lgbt as a norm rather than secluding them.

        Furthermore, another underlying theme of this artwork could be aiming to show the sentimental side of policemen and/or other icons of authority as opposed to the common belief that policemen are cold. A usual connection our brains tend to make when thinking of policemen is police brutality. Through this artwork Banksy may or may not be trying to prove a point against the common opinion of all policemen being frigid and disdainful.

The two boys are stenciled in black and white and are painted to look like they're staring back at the viewers. The direct eye contact attracts the viewer to the painting and to the general idea of the painting. Above the children there is a "hole" painted that looks like a crack in the wall. Through this false hole, a photorealistic color image of a tropical beach.

        With this artwork, banksy exposed America for, being seemingly two-faced. It contrasts the somewhat hidden morbid reality of war against the smiling faced fed to the public

        Banksy once stated that "The greatest crimes in the world are not committed by people breaking the rules but by people following the rules. It's people who follow orders that drop bombs and massacre villages."

    - - The Armored Dove is one of Banksy's nine paintings painted on the Palestinian wall. unlike the traditional peace image, Banksy's dove wears a reinforced vest with a target pointed at its chest, implying that someone intends to shoot it. Despite the fact that the dove means peace and has good significance, This artwork, like the rest of his art has created many controversies in Palestine. It has gotten a lot of hate, a Palestinian man even went as far as to criticize Banksy for his art on the wall saying:
        
        “We don’t want it to be beautiful, we hate this wall, go home”.
        But contrary to that some have found inspiration in Banksy’s art and find it a powerful tool to help fight back against Israel. Israelis consider the wall to be a protection against terrorism but on the other hand, the Palestinians claim that its purpose is racial segregation. Banksy is a pacifist and conveys peace through his art. A message commonly seen related to this work of Art is "Wage peace". By changing a symbol of peace to be depicted as a sign of conflict it gives a sense of guilt and possibly hopes to the viewers. Banksy is favoring peace and pushing the idea to others by creating this artwork in a conflicted area.
