Nelson Mandela was the son of Chief Henry Mandela
Nelson renounced his claim to the chieftainship to become a lawyer because normally his father was the chief of Madiba and he was supposed to take his spot

Mandela established South Africa’s first black law practice, specializing in cases resulting from the post-1948 apartheid legislation.

Nelson Mandela like Marco had experienced weird unusual things
Nelson Mandela had been in prison for twenty seven years for trying to stop the apartheid rule. He had many different stories where he had white people even thouhgh back then it would of been fround upon. For example he had once helped a women start her car in the 1950s, He always wanted to let people have the best he would not want the best things for himself.
Nelson Mandela had inspired multiple people
Nelson Mandela inspired many people around the world to devote their lives to political activism and human rights. In the United States, just as John Kennedy and Martin Luther King. HE has inspired Obama, Oprah and many more. Nelson Mandela has inspired people because how brave he was. They saw a person who did not quit if he had been tossed into prison it hadn't stopped Nelson Mandela on changing the way the world looks at human rights.
Their fathers were both successful men
Marco Polos father was a very wealthy venetian merchant who passed his business to his son and Nelson Mandelas father was the chief of a tribe caleled Madiba where is father was very succesful and wanted Nelson to take the job
