respiration
Anaerobic respiration happens during hard exercise when the body cannot get enough oxygen to the cells to perform aerobic respiration.
Aerobic respiration=glucose+oxygen->carbon dioxide+water +(energy) the mitochondria found in a cells cytoplasm is where respiration happens
Anaerobic respiration=glucose->lactic acid+(energy) and in fermentation in yeast=glucose->ethanol+carbon dioxide+(energy)
Aerobic respiration produces 18times more energy then anaerobic respiration and lactic acid causes pain and tiredness causing cramp which is broken down when you go back to aerobic respiration
Respiration is needed for:growth+repair,movement and maintaining the same temperature, all living cells respire and the energy gained from it is used for all the chemical processes needed in life.
