After World War I Germany lost against the other nations there were many destroyed buildings and cities and so many casualties
Germany had to pay a large debt for all the damage

Citizens didn't have enough money to feed their family and pay their bills
Germany became very upset because they felt it was unfair they had to pay for all the repercussion payments for other countries
They wanted their territories back and the freedom to operate
Great Depression and the rise of dictatorship
Many citizens were unemployed throughout Europe because of the Great Depression
Governments wanted to stay in power
Government made a promise to the people to believe and have faith in them to fix the economic issues
Government couldn't actually fix the problem because America wanted their money back and they also failed in making reparation payments.
People were angry but couldn't say anything or they might be killed
