World War I
MAJOR CAUSES OF WWI
MILITARISM
A main reason that started WWI was the race for arms and the competition for who had a bigger army and what they had to fight with.
i chose this image because it shows the vast number of german soldiers, germany also had large amounts of subs and u boats and also the massive rail guns.
NATIONALISM
Nationalism was another big cause because different nations wanted to appear that they had the most pride for their country which goes right alongside militarism
i chose this image because it gives a good representation of nationalism and shows some of the pride someone would have in their nation and that was a big part in the war
IMPERIALISM
-
i chose this image because it gives a good representation of imperialism and how nations would take over land for themselves and how the bigger nations would have bigger amounts of land.
ALLIANCES
many different nations wanted to gain alliances and also protect them so they fought for the rights for them.
i chose this image because it gives a good representation of what alliances mean because alliances are mostly about partnerships and joining together to fight the enemy
TREATY OF VERSAILLES
The treaty of versailles was the peace treaty that ended the war between germany and the allied powers (WWI)
-
i chose this image because it gives a good representation of the money germany had to repay due to their damages
