Solving Problem in Groups and Teams Ch 10 (Group Problem-Solving…
-
Personally I have seen participative decision making when working with other people. Whether it be in school or out of school this is something I see when things need to be done within a group.
In my life I have seen a lot of groupthink when it comes to watching how groups in school don't allow others to be open minded about other ideas. This is something I noticed during my time in high school on certain ideas in general.
Personally setting the stage for problem solving is something that I am thankful for either doing or getting help form my groups in terms of admitting the decisions we made were either right or wrong. This mostly occurred to me in high school on some group works or projects overall.
I enjoy using brainstorming in terms to fix issues or problems and plan out ahead of things when coming up with ideas to complete or fix something. I continue to use this in my life as much as the next person to solve or think through things ahead of time. Whether it be myself or in group with others who are also brainstorming as well.
I noticed that problem census is something more that happens in groups now more then ever in most cases that I have seen or been in. When it comes to either school groups figuring out how address the problem or future problems as well.
