Midterm Portfolio

Welcome

I am a Bio Sci major. This class was my only chance to move from reading boring science books to just reading boring books

But luckily for me, the class was themed on one of the most exciting genres on earth: music

The only thing more exciting would be to just listen to music in class, which we also did as part of our research.

Reflection

I started in the class with just simple annotations and notes

Then I improved my critical reading skills as I looked for the author's ulterior motive and intended audience.

I would include analysis of my artifacts and elaborate on why I wrote what I wrote and if I actually like what I wrote.

Explain how I improved on my RA

I think that writing is an indirect way of communication that allows anyone to speak. From introverts to extroverts, writing provides a non-threatening audience and environment that makes it a whole lot easier for people to just converse.
