In this meeting to strategize about student needs with student, family, SPED dept., admin, and teachers present, targeted interventions are planned. If after implementing and closely tracking interventions there still seems to be a large discrepancy in effort vs outcome, student may be referred for educational and/or psychological testing. Parents may also be advised to request an evaluation from their child's physician or a specialist at this point.
