Italy was not really safe. They were in danger. There were three sides free with no land in the ocean, and there were alps which you could easily cross.

The people who invaded different parts of Italy, had few water and food.

The Romans had plenty of fertile land. Because of this, people would live longer because of food. This would make the Romans have a bigger and stronger army.

The Italian peninsula had few natural barriers.

The Romans invented the procedure of battlefield medicine and surgery of cleaning up wounds. If someone was injured then they would clean the wound with vinegar. Also they would use opium and scopolamine as painkillers.

The Romans used Latin language which the modern world took ideas from.

The Romans first had a republic. They would sing for their country. The modern world also took Roman ideas.

The modern world took Latin words from the calendar. January, March, June, July, August, etc. Kalends was a Latin word. It was the original word for calendar.

Christianity developed in Judea. Not a lot of people followed the religion but it helped people with positive thinking.

The Romans prayed to Jesus to help them in the revolt. Because of this, they started praying to Jesus more.

Since the population grew, people needed more water. Romans invented a water system which can transport water into the city

The romans invented concrete, which is used 2 out of 3 times in the modern world! (It was made from volcanic ash.)

A Soldier's day: A soldier wakes up and is forced to be in the army. Normally they have a woman who they love and they lead the army for the women.

A woman's day

For women, they normally write on walls about whats on their minds, OR they make strings and thread, or they explore the Roman town.

Country life: For wealthy Romans, life was good in the country side. They lived in beautiful houses – often on the hills outside Rome, away from the noise and the smell. They enjoyed a very small and peaceful lifestyle with luxurious furnishings, surrounded by servants and slaves to help any wealthy leader. No drama was really going on in the country side.

Education: Kids and teenagers were trained to read and write in latin and roman. Also they were trained to swim, run, and battle.

Teenagers wake up mostly to fires. They go out in the city. At 2, they go for a bath. They mostly drink at the night.
