        People were desperate for ideas and turned to extremist parties like the Nazi Party
    - - Disrupted meetings of other parties
    - - He is the one who appointed Hitler as chancellor, and failed to recognise Hitler's passion for a dictator and his strong ability to fight.
    - - It could have simply been upto a series of fortunate events, which were in favor of Hitler rise to power.
        
        The fortunate events might have been the Great Depression and the Hyperinflation which left the public angry at the Weimar government. The public turned toward extremist groups like the Nazi Party for a way out of these difficult times.
- - - - Britain and France forced to get involved leading to further violence
  - - - In order to have an excuse for invading and 'restoring order'
    - - Czechoslovakia had to agree or fight the whole German Army
    - - Also the Sudetenland was the key to Czechoslovakia's defence against attack becuase it was where its key military fortresses and military industries were based
- - - - Countries such as the USA could simply support other countries, which would defeat the purpose of the LON, as they could start violence,and war - it was not compulsory for anyone to sign the LON.
    - - This meant that some countries were unstable and needed support. Some countries were out of ideas, so they just turned to war and violence.
    - - Some countries had dictators such as Mussolini, who were more eager to invade other countries
    - - Britain and France are completely against and if the LON took action, they were scared that they might resign form the LON
    - - Manchuria 1931
        
        In North East China, Japan took over Manchuria due to extreme conditions such as poverty (caused by the Depression).
        
        The LON decided to persuade Japan to leave but Japan refused and the plan backfired as Japan resigned from the LON.
      - Abyssinia 1935
        
        In East Africa, Italy, led by a fascist, Mussolini, invaded Abyssinia (Ethiopia) to regain their land and to increase their empire.
        
        The LON managed to stop trade between countries in the LON and Italy, but countries like the USA could still provide them with what they need.
