Mary F18 Performance Review
Overview of the Year
Short year
, the time in your role was only 6 months with some time as transition to change from regional to National focus
Goals were big goals
, and will continue to be focus for improving upon in F19. But can chunk 1 or 2 into smaller personalized goals.
Transition,
you raised your hand and stepped up (trip to Calgary, and training with Joanne & Pam)
All adhoc tasks that I have asked you to help me with were completed in a very timely and effective manner. I have come to trust your work because I know you don't take everything at face value, and you have satisfied to yourself that any analysis provided makes sense. F19 Challenge: to elevate salient points to draw attention to anomalies when asked to do any tasks.
Reporting & Harmonization
Created a harmonized Wholesale Sales & Margin report
Used the report to spot margin issues, and escalate with category
Follow-through on resolving issues that you've identified, and dug in and competently explained the impact to both wholesale and retail.
F19, what do you like to do and marry up with what is required. Also more applicable training.
F19 Challenge: to work on visualizing results.
Forecasting
Kept on top of Ontario CDM and Lumpsums to ensure that we were not missing funds, and that accruals appeared reasonable
Your expertise and analysis is relied upon by all banners in Ontario
F19 Challenge,
will be come involved with the forecast for National wholesale, as well as play a part understanding how cost harm will impact the wholesale margin forecast
Engagement
You have been a willing source of helping to teach other members of the team about wholesale margin
You've raised your hand to take on various adhoc analysis
You have a strong and positive voice at all of our team meetings, and I can always trust that you'll ask what's on your mind (which is often the thing others are thinking too)
F19 Challenge:
to take leadership on some mini-train-the-team trainings that our team will be designing.
Transition & Period End
Ownership, you ran COPA period end for Ontario independently for the year
Asked for help, and problem solved as appropriate with COPA balancing issues w/Jonathan, and stayed late to ensure support was available during period end
Transitioned many tasks from the West, created savvy documentation of tasks, and set into place a solid transition process to take over COPA West.
Challenge in F19, to run COPA independently and understand how cost harm will impact COPA.
