Coggle Digital Tool Review
How can Coggle be used as a student creative tool?
This tool can be used to create an outline for a presentation or paper.
If students are working together on the Coggle map they can work on it together from different locations and see each other's changes in real time. It is similar to a Google Document where it can be shared with others.
This tool can be used to create a visual diagram to include in presentation slides.
What is Coggle?
A mind map tool!
Definition of a mind map: a tool which organizes information and shows relationships between them.
Coggle is great for school projects and presentations!
Final assignment of the semester
Reflection of three takeaways from the semester:
This course helped me understand how important it is to prepare a lesson/unit plan and teach using a mix and match approach.
One of my favorite assignment of the semester was the Digital Citizenship presentation. I enjoyed studying the Google "Be Internet Awesome" curriculum for the assignment and look forward to using it in the future.
Web Literacy for Student Fact Checkers
provides some great ways for evaluating sources which I will always keep in mind when researching and of course teaching students about information literacy.
Key features of the tool:
Once you log in to Coggle, all projects will be autosaved.
The mind map can be customized in many different ways :
The entire diagram and its branches are easy to move around and reposition.
A branch's color can be changed
Text can be increased, bolded, italicized
You can add as many branches as you need to a topic.
Images can be added!
Links can be added!
