Often pass if:
Audience has high status
There is not a close relationship between the workers
There is no access to formal accomodations eg parental leave
It is not an extreme situation
Passing- Intentional or accidental misrepresentation of membership in a favoured group (i.e expected professional identity)
Revealing
Often reveal if:
Audience has low or same level status
It's with a close friend, mentor or colleague
There is access to formal accomodations
It is an extreme situation
Intentional or accidental misrepresentation of membership in the favoured group (i.e expected professional identity)
