Injury: Likely to suffer stresses and strains through ordinary life activities because lack of physical fitness.
Coronary Heart Disease (CDH): Lack of exercise may cause CHD with poor blood/oxygen circulation - build up of fat in the arteries.
Blood Pressure: More likely to be raised, with health consequences (hypertension).
Bone Density: Not as healthy as an active individual with bone more likely to be weaker and more liable to damage.
Obesity: More likely for the body's BMI to show too much body fat and therefore causing diseases such as CHD.
Type 2 Diabetes: More likely for those who are inactive. The body does not produce enough insulin and too much glucose remains in the blood. It is more associated with obesity and older people.
Posture: Poor posture can lead to muscle and skeletal damage and this is more associated with those who are inactive.
Fitness: If you are inactive you are more likely to be unfit and therefore will tire easily and be more likely to suffer from muscle damage.

Stress Management: When inactive, a person may dwell on life's difficulties and not enough outlets to get rid of stress and anxiety.
Image: Inactive people can have poor self-image. This feeling of inadequacy can arise from poor body image, which can in some cases, be related to obesity or sometime those who are extremely underweight.

Belonging to a Group: Mainly can result in isolation for an individual and therefore that person may not feel part of the community - become dispirited.
Loneliness: Inactivity can result in a lack of people to talk to - this social isolation can lead to loneliness.
