Determinism
Technology is the basis for all human activity. Constant improvement of everything. Can't Stop Progress.
Hard Determinism. Technology develops independently of social concerns. We change to meet the needs of Technology.
Soft Determinism. More Accepted, Technology guides evolution but we have free will to adopt or not.

Rules, Variables, Player Effort, Player-Attached Outcomes, Negotiable Consequences, etc.
Arcade, Puzzle, Action, RPG, Racing, etc. ("PC Based" or "Console" are not types of Genres, Bruh.
Video Games & Violence. Research inconclusive, Games are "Situational Variables," which "change the perception of and reaction to aggressive behavior" Research is all garbage.
