Meridian Energy
Point of View
We're committed to meeting future energy needs with renewable energy and helping to minimise the electricity industry’s contribution to climate change. We generate power from 100% renewable energy sources.
James Neale
Point of View
We are not sure of his perspective yet as we have contacted him and had no reply yet.
Keerthi Vasan
Point of View
Now a days, most of our energy requirement is provided by fossil fuels. Luckily some part of the world consider renewable source as their major energy source. Attention of people will turn towards renewable source completely only when currently available fossil fuels are exhausted. So, it will take nearly 100 years for that. Renewable energy is “FUTURE ENERGY”.
Robert Russell
Point of View
We need renewable energy if we want to keep enjoying decent living standards, especially with a still-growing global population. We also need it to prevent the catastrophic climate changes associated with burning fossil fuels. Thankfully, renewable energy is becoming more viable these days and can stand on its own, even without government subsidies. But there’s more room for improvement and we still have a long way to go.
Solarcity
Point of View
Solarcity is a solar energy services company focused on delivering cleaner, cheaper and more reliable power to Kiwi homeowners. Our commitment and vision guides us when sourcing the very best products from local and international manufacturers.
Vincent Maldia
Point of View
It can do a lot but it has limitations, but it cannot do it all. In a combination with fission its probably the most plausible way to quickly reduce fossil fuel use and prevent climate change devastation. We are in a hurry after all Do not join groups (real life and online) that espouse pseudoscience such as the unproven notion that renewables alone can do it all. Talk to your friends. Share science/evidence based news on social media. Correct any misconceptions and myths via comments on social media.
Victoria University
Point of View
As the world’s energy demands increase, we can no longer ignore the rapid depletion of traditional energy sources and the negative impact fossil fuels have on the environment. Finding renewable energy solutions is a complex issue that requires a multidisciplinary approach. Victoria can give you the skills you need in this field by offering a range of disciplines—business, engineering, policy and science.
Everybody
Everybody is affected by Renewable Energy because everybody would either benefit or not benefit from changing the energy sources.
Thomas Coster
Point of View
I think renewable energy is necessary to make the world a better place and is a great substitute to fossil fuels. Renewable energy is becoming more and more common these days but places like Africa and pore parts of the world don't even have energy at all. So renewable energy would be great for them. All it takes is some initiative from the world.
Harry Melhuish
Point of View
I think that Renewable Energy is a great way to get cheap energy for the world, we just need to do something to publicise it.
