Breaking Down Barriers to Learning
: Perla from Mexico shares, "From my personal point of view, global connected learning means to take advantage of technologies to break limitations like time zone, distance, language, and age to share learning experiences."
Mr. Paccone used modeling as a way to properly demonstrate to students how to use technology to expand learning. Jinze Wu presentation is an exemplary use of technology as she built a friendship with Bob while volunteering on the Battleship USS Iowa.

A global educator knows that connected learning is about not working in isolation, but learning with and from others. It is through networking and interacting with others that a personal learning network (PLN) can be established.
