Richard was strongly in favour of giving women the vote

She formed a Women's Social and Political Union

Was through the suffragette movement

The suffragette were a Group of women who did campaing for votes for womens

The suffragette often broke the law during their protest

Many suffragette were arrested

She went on huger strike

Emmeline died in 1928

Women over the age of 30 were given the vote
