Act quickly to stop the harassment if you notice talk about money between students
Work to boost the self-confidence of students who live in poverty by praising their school success instead of what they own
Try to provide as much access to media as you can in school because they might not have access to it at home
Do not require costly activities
Make it clear that you value all of your students for their character and not for what they have or don't have
