-
In my life I saw that a servant leadership was something that was more prevalent in terms of doing group projects in school or just in life in general of what I see in my day to day life or certain situations in my life as a whole.
I have noticed in my life that certain people in groups whether they be friends or just associates form school or anywhere really. Tend to have both a hidden agenda and a individual agenda as well when it comes to what they themselves want from others. This was something I knew all to well during my time in my high school.
A lot of characteristics of groups and teams is something that I have experienced and seen multiple times in my life. Such as having chain networks to communicate with others on the fly, having rules, gatekeepers, roles, and norms above all. These were all present during my time when hanging with friends in school or just now in general.
Being in a group for me was one to attain a better way to communicate to others and gain new experience about my self and of others as well.
In my personal experience I have seen a lot friends use power in there own way to get others to do work or get them motivated. I have also used power in that manner in terms of moving people in the right direction when it came down to getting things done.
