In an age where information is at the tips of your finger, Research and presentation of any information much be cited. So original assignments allow for students to research for presentations with out straight copying.
"I fear as I am about to enter my career as a teacher, there is so much pressure to include technology in every aspect of learning. I don't want them to view it as easy, because there is so much information out there. I want them to read and decide what is relevant to there assignment, so they are engaged. Not copy and done"

After working in their own classrooms will ELL students Dr. Jana Echevarría, Dr. Mary Ellen Vogt, and Dr. Deborah J. Short decided to develop a model to provide educational aid to other teachers, a model that not only benefits English language learners but all students in the classroom. Over the course of 7 years they developed features the 8 components and 3 features. The explicit model was field tested for optimal implementation.
