Parents, The School, and admin can all be used to assist with discipline or contacting the student
Communication with parents or guardians can assist with discipline and follow the school or boards policies
Attendance
At the beginning of the course, give students clear instructions on how often they should be logging on.

If students aren't logging in regularly they may miss important information. Being active and present helps build relationships not just with the teacher, but with other students too.
