Main generation – VFG: there are four variable frequency generators, two per engine. Each
VFG supplies its own channel with a nominal 230V, 100kVA, 3phases and 390 to 800 Hz

RAT Module driving an AC Electrical Generator,
2 ATUs EMER that convert 230VAC into 115VAC, the power of the ATU EMER is 4kVA.
1 Static Inverter: provides a source of alternative current, in case of emergency generation,

- Circuit breaker panel (side 1 and 2),
- Secondary main distribution (side 1 and 2),
- Emergency distribution (side 1 and 2).

The main AC electrical network is based on four 230VAC busbars, AC1A-100XNA & AC1B-
100XNB on the side 1, and AC2B-200XNB & AC2A-200XNA on the side 2.
The four AC main busbars are supplied by three kinds of sources, depending on the availability of
each: four main generators (VFG), the auxiliary power generator (APU), and two external powers
-
The 230VAC network supplies major electrical loads such as: Air Conditioning, Fuel Pumps,
Hydraulics, etc. This network supplies mainly technical load, it re-uses the classic rules of 115VAC
for equipment casing, grounding & bounding. Moreover, the 230VAC network contributes to
increase A/C overall performances and allows current reduction in the wirings, which reduces:
Thermal rejection in the Carbon Fiber Reinforced Plastic (CFRP) structure,
Current rejection in the CFRP structure,

on the side 1, and AC2B-200XPB & AC2A-200XPA on the side 2.
-
The ATU-1A (connected to the AC1A-100XNA) supplies the AC1A-100XPA,
The ATU-1B (connected to the AC1B-100XNB) supplies the AC1B-100XPB,
The ATU-2B (connected to the AC2B-200XNB) supplies the AC2B-200XPB,
