A.U and Light years
A light year is how fast light travels in a year. Light travels 300,000km a second so there for in a light year it would travel 10 trillion kilometers.
AU means Astronomical Units which is the distance between the sun and earth (roughly 150,000,000km)
Life of a star
The average star then turns into planetary nebula (a ring of the reactants from the sun) and the red super giant turns into a supernova (a bright explosion of the unstable star)
The planetary nebula then turns into a white dwarf (the remnants of a star) but the supernova either turns into a black hole or a neutron star
The star go through a giant phase. The average star turns into a red giant and the massive star turns into a red super giant
-
-
a black hole is a remnant of the supernova which has a gravitational force so strong even light cannot escape a black hole

-
Order of the planets - Sun, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune.
-
Jupiter is the largest planet, the sun is not a planet.
Gas composition of the earth is 78% nitrogen, 21% oxygen and 0.9% Argon
Earth's location = Universe, Virgo super cluster of galaxies, Local group of galaxies, Milky way, solar system
