      - This is for the Universe, and the mini is for Earth
  - - - Is your soul "essence"
      - Is individual/separate from Brahman but it is Brahman
      - Is what allows the perception of self
      - Is constant through all of your lives
      - If you are everything you cannot perceive yourself. You have to create something to experience yourself. The Atman is the universes attempt to understand itself.
      - Which is why the goal of Hinduism is to become one with the universe
    - - Magic/creation/Illusion
      - Hides the reality from Atman. But without it the universe wouldn't exist
    - - Takes many faces, but is everything. Is the ultimate reality.
      - Underneath the illusion he is everything
      - Monism: everything is one. We only think that we are different
    - - Karma
        
        Actions/Deeds
        
        Each act produces and effect based on its worthiness
        
        The effect may not happen in this life but in the next
        
        to break out of the cycle you have to accumulate good karma
        
        As humans we can do this but depending upon your placement if you cannot practice it you gotta wait for your next life (where you hopefully will be able to)
      - Darma
        
        Each cast has a different darma
        
        If you perform it well you get good Karma
        
        Duty / Religion / Law
    - - You do not have to seek the release now
      - Your life goes through stages, and so you will naturally move on and go seek it out
      - No original sin and for some a life goal CAN be sinful
      - if you achieve it you get karma?
      - There are 4 paths that a person can take #
  - - - legally there is no difference
      - but in culture it is
  - - - Is before 24 years of age
      - You have a teacher (guru) and their words are divinely inspired
      - You are expected to learn from them and pursue moksha
      - Teachers can be both male and female
      - But you can be a part-time student and do something else too
    - - Raise a family and maintain your station
    - - This stage is when you have your first grandchild
      - You go away and live in a place without people (you are a hermit)
      - Spouses can live together (in isolation)
      - You could delay it if you want too
      - But this phase is essentially retirement. A time to focus on your children, family and understand the text
      - many at this stage become gurus
    - - After you have understood everything you abandon everything and go wandering
      - ascetic:somebody who renounces all possessions and desires
        
        Because they do not actually matter, they do not even exist
      - known as the "wandering months"
      - some travel together but mostly alone
      - Mostly men but some are women
- - - - Chosen people
      - Gods loved ones
      - Important (to his plan)
    - - Death > Life > Heaven
      - Prayer
      - Lead your life by the texts
    - - Yes
      - But we should use it to submit to/follow God
      - Personal thing, and you will carry the responsibility and the consequences
    - - By doing all of the above. If not in this life then in the afterlife.
    - - Do good things
      - Return god love
      - Be a good person
