Storyline
John reminisce over his childhood and how he came to know the forest and the view from his window
John begins the four-hour journey to the lake on foot
John arrives at the lake and slowly enters the water
John has a vison in which 'Me' is born
John wakes in an unfamiliar room strapped down to bed in an enormous amount of pain . John meets Lux find out how he got where he is now , quickly falls asleep again
John wakes again in another room. John can't move still Lux convinces him to stay at the house and learn the ways of lux. John tentatively agrees.
Milk talks to him and tries to convinces him against joining in Lux's joinery
With John finally healed enough to start walking he begins the first lesson with lux
